hello world! reina's in da house. hahaa yeah its been awhile eh! its the hols now, and its been good, but ive been so so tired the past few days! hahaa even though its the hols, i feel like im more sleep deprived now than i was during exams! today i totally passed out after coming back from church at 6pm..was supposed to head to town at 730pm, but slept all the way till 1130!
The past two weeks have been a combination of fun and drudgery. The latter's due to the fact that i had to head back to pulau ntu EVERYday for this past week for ISP workshop. And after all that, i might decide not to take ISP next sem after all. i dont think im going to specialize in EBM so theres no point really. And the work load for the semester is quite demanding. ISP workshop was useful though. im proud to say that i now know how to set up and use a DSR 390 $11000 camcorder on my own, and do some basic film editing on AVID (but give me FINAL CUT over AVID anyday!) haha.
The evenings after ISP were spent chillaxing at my place with various people who were nice enough to come visit me cuz i was temporarily handicapped after the standard chartered marathon last Sunday. hahaa yes i finally did my first marathon! it was quite an exhausting and humbling experience. i can still get away with not training much for 21k, but a marathon is entirely different. i definitely need to be more adequately prepared mentally and physically next time. Really thank God that only by His grace and strength (Phillipians 4:13) i was able to complete it. Beeg THANK YOU to seok, who shared this experience with me, and ran with me most of the way! hahaa i dont know what possesed us to sign up with such minimal training, but lets do it again aiight? :) haha maybe not so soon though! THANK YOU to my acx teammates (bailing, sarahq, sarah ng, leon) who patiently waited for us till we finished (even though seok and i had to hobble all the way to starbucks!hahaa. we love yall anyway! )
hahaa ok brief summary of the past two weeks ( 27th November marked the first day of liberation, after i finished my org comm paper. WOOT. ).. Street roving for the
Getyoursexyback campaign for Danny's FYP group, jamming at Fourtones with the band, kbox, recordings over at my place with various people, watched enchanted, mg gathering at shums', Mind cafe with YA pple (Sern yong was our table's "professional" games instructor hahaa) ,desmond's birthday, shopping and more shopping, dinners, catching up with some of my favourite people:). haha aiight thats all i can remember for now. im writing all this down to more or less remember what i did durign the hols, cuz its gonna fly by and im alr two weeks into the hols! aahhh and im feeling the wanderlust! My parents are over at Japan now, and theyve left me at home:( the only place ill be going is malacca next next week with the ntu/fc people but thats so not counted la. hahaa i wanna leave on a jet plane and go someplace far far away, not to some neighbouring country! oh well. hahaa aiight im going back to sleep somemore. enjoy the hols people!:)
sigh. actually all i really want to do is to practise guitar. And to sleep. hahaa. but seriously. i need to utilize this time to pick up some new techniques. daniel's prolly going to teach me this weekend, and im really stoked for that :)
